This is a great, solid piece. It is very heavy and packaged well. It was not super easy to put together, but it took my boyfriend about an hour or so.

It is solid wood, or something equally heavy, and looks great. Nothing wobbles and it easily holds our weight comfortably while sitting.

The only con is that the top scratched very easily, since it is painted wood. Not a big deal, since it is a working kitchen table.

The chairs are aweful - completely uncomfortable and in my opinion unusable because of it. Because of their shape, it's not like it would be easy to make a cushion either or buy one to fix this problem. I wish I had just returned this table. My boyfriend said it was a PAIN to put together and even broke a piece of it just assembling. I know it's cheap, but it's too cheap. I wouldn't have paid 50$ for this if I had saw it in person. Whoops.
